When a roof is past restoring
Most of the time a tired roof can be restored. Replacement is for roofs that are genuinely past it: tiles badly cracked throughout, or metal sheeting that has rusted through. We tell you which one you are looking at on the inspection, and if the honest answer is that it can wait, we tell you that too.
A replacement takes the roof back to the frame. The old covering comes off, new battens and sarking go on, and the new roof is laid in tile or metal with the flashings and capping detailed so weather has nowhere to get in.
We also roof new builds and extensions, and we re roof tile homes in metal using Colorbond and Stratco materials.
